Job Description

In this role, you can expect to oversee the accounting and reporting function consisting of the monthly closing process, general ledger, and payroll for the corporate general ledger of the Company. This includes responsible assistance in coordinating the quarterly and annual audit process. Additionally, you will control the entire monthly close process while ensuring everyone involved understands their responsibilities and executes them properly. You will also facilitate relationships with external auditors, third-party tax providers, and all internal audit functions to ensure proper coordination occurs as needed.

What It Takes to Succeed

At West Shore Home, we believe that when employees know they are valued and safe, they'll bring their best efforts every day. As a Corporate Controller, you must have a strong understanding of financial operations, excellent analytical skills, and experience managing under pressure. A Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or a related field, along with a CPA or CMA certification, is required. Minimum 6 years of experience, including 4 years in a role equivalent to division, product, or corporate controller, preferably in a public company, is necessary. Additionally, you should have minimum 5 years managerial experience, demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills, excellent organization skills, proven decision-making skills, and a valid smartphone or smart device.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience.
