About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital. As a Gamma Knife Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our neuroscience program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing Gamma Knife treatment
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the physician
  • Assist with patient education and discharge planning
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current Washington State Registered Nurse License
  • Current National Provider BLS certification
  • 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in neuroscience or oncology
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience in Gamma Knife treatment
  • 2 years of experience in acute care neuroscience nursing
