Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a highly skilled Oncology Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective management of drug therapy for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe and effective drug therapy management to improve patient outcomes
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure accurate dispensing, order validation, and processing of chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy orders
- Adhere to institutional high-risk standards, guidelines, and policies for chemotherapy/biotherapy handling and dispensing
- Provide educational services to patients, physicians, nurses, students, and other healthcare professionals
- Report and investigate adverse drug reactions and medication errors, and communicate findings to relevant healthcare providers
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree
- Completed Oncology Specialty Residency or 5 years of experience in oncology
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive institutional oncology pharmaceutical experience or Advanced Pharmacy Practice Residency (PGY1)
- Licensed as a Pharmacist in the state of Florida
