About the Role

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive medication management services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform medication order review, clarification, and verification to ensure completeness and appropriateness.
  • Provide chemotherapy order processing and double-checking as necessary.
  • Participate in hazardous/non-hazardous preparation in accordance with USP guidelines.
  • Oversee the admixture and preparation of all hazardous and non-hazardous drugs.
  • Supervise and direct support personnel, verifying their daily activities.
  • Provide clinical pharmaceutical care to optimize drug therapy for cancer patients.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
  • Completed a PGY-1 Residency or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a progressive institutional pharmacy practice.
  • Previous oncology pharmacy work experience is preferred.
