We are seeking a skilled Prep Cook to join our team at FISD. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain daily production schedules and preparation requirements from the Executive Chef.
- Prepare menu items according to established recipes and quantities.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, including ovens, stoves, and dishwashers.
- Store and label food items according to company policies and health and safety regulations.
- Ensure that all food is prepared and served at the correct temperature and quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Requirements:
- Previous cooking experience, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
