Job Summary

The JF Petroleum Group is a leading provider of comprehensive turn-key solutions for the fueling infrastructure industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Apprentice to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Journeyman Electrician in the service and repair of fuel dispensing systems, commercial electric installations, and other related systems.
  • Read and interpret schematic diagrams, product specifications, and installation and start-up procedures.
  • Select materials and parts required to complete assigned repairs.
  • Operate tools and equipment safely to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Own and maintain tools required for position.
  • Complete assigned tasks quickly, completely, and consistent with guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean work area.
  • Organize and store tools and materials to minimize damage and risk of injury.
  • Protect company and customer property by all reasonable means.
Safety Requirements
  • Understand and comply with company safety policy.
  • Understand and comply with OSHA safety policies.
  • Participate in scheduled Safety Meetings.
  • Identify potential safety hazards and either eliminate or report to Journeyman for resolution prior to beginning work.
  • Report accidents or injuries to Journeyman Electrician immediately.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Three years in a related field.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Certificates, licenses, and restrictions.
  • Driver's license (current, unrestricted, and free of moving violations).
  • Ability to meet company employment requirements, including passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR (if driving for the company).
  • Physical ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, frequent bending, stooping, and standing 8-10 hours per day.
