About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foster Care Plus Supervisor to join our team at the State of New Mexico. As a Foster Care Plus Supervisor, you will play a critical role in supporting the recruitment and supervision of foster care plus services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain contracts for services with agencies to support foster care plus
  • Support training of foster care plus resource parents
  • Assess needs and provide support for resource foster parents
  • Develop and coach workers in supporting foster care plus specialized resource homes
  • Follow foster care plus program guide and support all guidelines
  • Support recruitment of resource homes and CBRR teams
  • Work with the communication office to maintain recruitment efforts and support strategic recruitment plan
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, guidance and counseling, education, sociology, criminal justice, criminology, and/or family studies/services
  • Four years of experience in working with communities, health or social service related matters, social work/case management, behavioral health, and/or healthcare
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel with occasional overnight stays
