Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Behavioral Health department at Children's Health. As a Pediatric Behavioral Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the Behavioral Health department through participation in quality improvement initiatives and education programs.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
  • At least 2 years of experience in pediatric emergency room nursing.
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification.
  • PALS/NRP/ACLS certification.
  • PACES certification within 6 months of hire.
