Join Our Team as a Construction Quality Assurance Specialist
Keville Enterprises, Inc. (KEI) is actively seeking qualified professionals to provide inspection services for a variety of public and private sector projects, including but not limited to airports, railways, highways, bridges, and water/wastewater systems. A positive demeanor is crucial for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate contractor performance to ensure adherence to project specifications and contract documents
- Manage contract-related administrative duties
- Document daily project advancements
- Monitor and record work quantities
- Address and resolve construction issues on-site
- Execute additional oversight tasks as required
Applicants should demonstrate a solid understanding of construction techniques and materials, possess strong communication abilities, and be adept at managing documentation. The capacity to interpret technical drawings and perform quantity assessments is essential.
Qualifications and Experience:
Candidates must have a background in inspecting, testing, or overseeing construction projects. Proficiency in computer applications (including MS Word, Excel, and construction reporting software) is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary, along with a proactive approach to learning, multitasking, and teamwork.
A minimum of three years of experience in civil engineering, highway construction, facility management, or a related discipline is required, with at least one year in a field inspection capacity. Professional certifications such as NICET, NETTCP, ACI, NACE, AWS/CWI, ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor, EIT, CCM, CMIT, or CACM are highly desirable. A Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
Additionally, OSHA 10 certification is a prerequisite for this position. The company adheres to e-verify regulations.
