Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

LSG Sky Chefs, a leading provider of on-board products and services, seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist to maintain the Global Quality System and ensure compliance with customer, FDA, USDA, and HACCP plans.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and initiate recordkeeping and key performance indicators for the Quality Department and GQS.
  • Daily monitor Good Manufacturing Practices for compliance.
  • Verify cooler and freezer room temperatures for compliance.
  • Perform environmental swabs and microbiological sampling.
  • Assist the Quality Manager in training and daily initiatives addressing quality, food safety, and sanitation issues.
  • Conduct work station inspections and verify compliance with specifications.
  • Conduct portion control weight compliance checks.
  • Verify Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) logs and other documents are accurately completed.
  • Create charts, trending reports, and training materials.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish, a plus.
  • Proficient in using computer and basic software.
  • Previous food industry and quality assurance experience a plus.
  • Ability to work in cold environment and lift/push a minimum of 25 lbs.
