Job Summary:

The Middlesex Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Technician to join our team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all construction projects meet the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and identify potential quality issues.
  • Develop and implement project-specific quality control plans to ensure that all construction activities meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that quality control objectives are met.
  • Conduct quality control audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain quality control documentation, including reports and records.
  • Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality control processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering or construction management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or a related field.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications, such as NETTCP Quality Assurance Technologist or USACE Construction Quality Manager Certification.
  • Experience with quality control software and systems.
