Role Overview
The selected candidate will join the Global Sustainment Courseware, Training, and Technical Publications team, playing a vital role in enhancing our training capabilities.
- Training Development: Design and produce comprehensive training programs, curricula, and materials tailored to support radar initiatives and contractual obligations.
- Instructional Design: Implement best practices in instructional system design to create effective training resources and sustainment training.
- Training Evaluation: Conduct thorough analysis, design, development, implementation, and assessment of training and related course materials as needed.
Knowledge Acquisition:
Gain insights by engaging with subject matter experts, observing operational processes, and reviewing technical documentation.
- Course Material Updates: Assess engineering data and make necessary revisions to training content.
- Technical Training Delivery: Facilitate formal technical training sessions for both domestic and international clients, focusing on radar operation and maintenance.
Documentation Support:
Assist in the creation of technical documentation, including procedure manuals and user guides.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is essential, along with professional experience in developing technical training materials, effectively communicating complex technical concepts, and leading instructor-led training sessions on intricate technical systems.
- Technical Systems Experience: Proven experience in supporting technical systems that integrate hardware and software components.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal abilities and the capacity to obtain a Secret Clearance are required.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with radar systems, familiarity with DoD training standards, and expertise in instructional system design are highly desirable.
Security Clearance:
This position necessitates a government security clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
