Regional Executive Chef Job Summary

The Regional Executive Chef will play a critical role in upholding the culinary standards of our region(s) as directed by ISS/GEI. This position requires a strong partnership with the Area Manager to ensure that all culinary best practices, guidelines, policies, and procedures are being followed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Area Manager to ensure that hiring best practices are followed for culinary positions.
  • Ensure that ISS/GEI/client guidelines, policies, SOPs, and CPEs for food production and quality standards are being met in each unit.
  • Monitor and support culinary budgetary requirements and provide accurate data to support cost analysis.
  • Develop and maintain menu programming that meets program standards and unit-specific requirements.
  • Ensure that ISS/GEI/client procurement purchasing guidelines, policies, and SOPs are followed.
  • Monitor Procurement Integrity Index (PII) scores to ensure compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPI) requirements.
  • Support new unit start-up processes where applicable.
  • Attend and facilitate culinary leadership team meetings to provide guidance and alignment in all ISS/GEI/client culinary initiatives.
  • Cascade and monitor all aspects of culinary training directed by ISS/GEI/client guidelines, policies, SOPs, and program standards.
Food and Workplace Safety
  • Partner with the Area Manager to ensure that kitchen organization and cleanliness provide a safe environment for all employees and guests.
  • Ensure that Workplace Safety guidelines, policies, and SOPs are followed daily.
  • Ensure that Food Safety guidelines, policies, and SOPs are followed daily.
  • Ensure that Allergen Control Plan (ACP) guidelines, policies, and SOPs are followed daily.
  • Verify that product labels are accurate and contain all allergenic ingredients.
  • Ensure that HACCP guidelines, policies, and SOPs are followed daily.
  • Ensure that NSF guidelines, policies, and SOPs are followed daily.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Work up to 8 hours a day on your feet, excluding breaks.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet time deadlines during peak periods.

The annual salary range for this position is $120k - $135k. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
