Key ResponsibilitiesThe Revenue Cycle Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting various revenue cycle management (RCM) functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Processing and scanning payment batches and related documents accurately and promptly.
- Preparing and managing daily bank deposits.
- Handling correspondence and payments through Lockbox to ensure timely posting.
- Monitoring unassigned payments and registering insurance information in the management system.
- Addressing returned mail and updating patient information as necessary.
- Researching payment posting through payer portals.
- Coordinating medical records requests with external vendors.
- Reviewing patient credit balances for potential refunds.
- Providing exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
- Adapting to organizational changes and supporting the insurance department as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations in all patient interactions.

Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare office setting is preferred.

- Experience in endovascular coding.
