Job Summary:

The FreightTAS team is seeking a highly skilled International Trade Specialist to join our team. As an International Trade Specialist, you will be responsible for handling air and ocean import/export files, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day air and ocean export shipments
  • Prepare quotes and documentation for customers
  • Coordinate with steamship lines and maintain daily reports
  • Ensure all required documents are received and sent to customers
  • File AES and other required documentation
  • Arrange pick-ups, deliveries, and container loading
  • Maintain customer service updates and track cargo from origin to destination
  • Set up billing and payables

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of freight forwarding with a focus on air and ocean export operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with freight forwarding software, such as Cargowise
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
