Key Responsibilities:
As a Procurement Specialist, your primary duties will include:

  • Processing purchase orders efficiently from clients.
  • Ensuring timely updates on order status and shipping schedules.
  • Managing and monitoring inventory levels to optimize stock.
  • Conducting market analysis to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Serving as the main point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service when needed.
  • Negotiating with suppliers regarding pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Evaluating market prices and preparing comprehensive reports for management.
  • Identifying inventory discrepancies and communicating them to management.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or production planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to foster a positive team atmosphere.
  • Flexibility to work effectively with diverse groups and in multicultural settings.
  • Excellent communication skills (speaking, writing, reading, listening) and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in multitasking and completing tasks efficiently.
  • A team-oriented mindset, attention to detail, responsibility, punctuality, and self-motivation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this role, candidates may be required to:

  • Intermittently sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Lift more than 25 pounds with assistance.
  • Climb stairs and use hands to handle or feel parts and equipment.
  • Reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend at the waist.
  • Engage in close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
