JOB INFORMATION:
Summary

We are in search of a qualified Pharmacist to fill a vital role within our organization. The ideal candidate must possess a valid pharmacist license and have substantial experience in pharmacy operations and adherence to regulatory standards.

In this role, you will be accountable for providing current licensing information to the State Board of Pharmacy and will assume the responsibilities of Pharmacist in Charge for Rotech Healthcare.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- The client is responsible for executing any necessary changes and ensuring compliance with regulations.

- The client may request additional services from the Contractor; however, the Contractor is not obliged to provide such services until a written agreement is established.

- The Consultant will deliver a report detailing any deficiencies along with recommendations for achieving compliance.

- Locations must ensure that medical gases are securely maintained and comply with relevant pharmacopoeial standards.

- Provide guidance, education, and advice regarding findings from quarterly audits.

- Review records associated with the special pharmacy permit for medical gases at least quarterly, including patient prescriptions and delivery records.

- Assess the policy and procedures manual that outlines how operations will adhere to applicable federal, state, or local laws and regulations.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Employment is contingent upon:

- Background investigation (company-wide)

- Drug screening (if applicable)

- Valid driver's license in the state of residence with a clean driving record (if applicable)

Education and/or Experience

- Bachelor's Degree/Phar. D. Degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy or successful completion of the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate qualification examination administered by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) is required.

- A current pharmacist's license in good standing is mandatory.

- Ability to accurately perform basic mathematical calculations.

- Proficient communication skills in English, both oral and written.

- Ability to interpret various forms of communication (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening, and visual).

- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information.

- Capable of multitasking with a keen attention to detail.

- Self-motivated, organized, and possess strong time-management and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Physical Demands

- Ability to lift and carry office equipment as needed.

- Requires sitting, walking, standing, talking, or listening.

- Requires close vision for reading small print on computers, tablets, and paperwork.

Machines, Equipment, and Technical Abilities

- Proficient in email communication.

- Skilled in internet navigation and research.

- Familiarity with Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel.

- Competent in using office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, printers, phones, and computers/tablets.
