Senior Product Innovation Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Innovation Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to drive innovation and improve efficiency within our product line.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians in the development of new products, from conception to launch. Key responsibilities include:
1. Overseeing the entire product development process, ensuring all products meet high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
2. Applying Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes, reduce waste, and optimize performance.
3. Conducting market research to identify opportunities for new products or improvements to existing products.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and production, to ensure products meet customer needs and align with business objectives.
5. Staying updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and AAFCO Guidelines to ensure our products remain competitive.
6. Developing and managing project timelines and budgets, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
7. Providing technical expertise and guidance in areas of feed plant, food manufacturing, and animal nutrition.
8. Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, Animal Nutrition, or related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in product development within pet food manufacturing.
3. Ability to work a hybrid schedule with 3 days a week onsite.
4. Proven experience in food manufacturing and understanding of AAFCO Guidelines.
5. Strong knowledge of animal nutrition.
6. Proven track record in new product development, from conception to launch.
7. Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
8. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
Salary and Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 - $130,000 per year, with an estimated annual bonus of $23,000 (20% of base salary).
