We are seeking a Healthcare Support Specialist to join our dedicated team. BCCS has a long-standing commitment to supporting community members in their journey towards improved physical and mental health.

As a trusted community resource, BCCS is reshaping societal perceptions of recovery. We uphold integrity and promote empowerment for individuals facing challenges related to addiction, mental health, and HIV.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all BCCS policies and protocols.
  • Oversee drug screening processes for clients.
  • Complete necessary documentation and coordinate with various laboratories.
  • Document Breathalyzer and drug screening outcomes.
  • Prepare and maintain laboratory environments.
  • Assist with physical examinations for female clients as needed.
  • Collect and manage specimens appropriately.
  • Ensure proper preparation of specimens for transportation.
  • Safely operate and maintain facility equipment.
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Support intake and annual physical examination processes.

Qualifications:

  • Required: High school diploma or GED.
  • Preferred: Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare support role.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday - Thursday
  • 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • Part-time position.

Compensation:

  • Starting at $18/hour, commensurate with experience and education.
