Overview

Sentara Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Norfolk, VA. As a key member of our Ambulatory team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiac clinic.

Responsibilities
  • Pre-visit planning for cardiac clinic patients, including note preparation and pre-operative risk assessments.
  • Cardiac referral management, including scheduling appointments and coordinating advanced imaging.
  • Occasional rooming of cardiac, aortic, or thoracic patients.
  • Coordinating patient care with cardiology structural heart colleagues.
Requirements
  • Valid RN license (VA or Compact)
  • ASN, BSN, or MSN degree
  • Cardiac experience preferred
