The Cardiac Surgery Ambulatory Educator and Post-Op Care Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care and education in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a passion for teaching.
Responsibilities- Conduct pre-surgery classes for patients and their families to ensure they are well-prepared for their procedures.
- Assist with tracking atrial fibrillation patients and make follow-up calls to check on their status.
- Provide postoperative care and support to patients, including rooming and assisting with patient call overflow.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and education.
- Valid RN license in North Carolina or Virginia.
- ASN, BSN, or MSN degree.
- Cardiac experience preferred.
