About the Role

Family Care Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team. As a licensed therapist, you will provide counseling and mental health services to patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of mental illness and other psychological issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement counseling/therapy for assigned patients in both individual and group settings.
  • Interview and assess patients and/or patient's family, caregivers, and/or legal representatives.
  • Determine, provide, and/or arrange for needed internal and external services/interventions.
  • Participate and/or arrange case reviews/care conferences to evaluate progress.
  • Assist with discharge planning and processes, including identification of community-based resources, and provide referrals as part of the discharge plan.
  • Assess, collaborate, and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs and readiness for discharge with other members of the care team.
  • Utilize appropriate teaching methods and/or referrals to ensure patient/family educational needs are met.
  • Participate and/or train new staff, students, and interns as assigned.
  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) required.
  • 2 years of relevant experience with adult, geriatric, and/or child and adolescent populations required.
  • Experience in behavioral interventions, critical incident event management, and case management.
  • Experience using evidence-based treatments to treat multiple behavioral health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
  • State licensure Ph.D. or Psy.D. required.
  • Relocation bonus available.
