How You'll Fly
You'll help to bring more patients their bluebird days by:
- Researching, understanding, and preparing accounting treatment for operating, finance, embedded and real estate lease accounting under ASC 842, including documentation of memos, schedules, and related reconciliations.
- Assisting with inventory accounting to capture standard vs. actual cost variances and assist in evaluating reserves and other inventory-related estimates.
- Working cross-functionally with other teams to ensure proper accounting treatment and assessment and documentation of ad hoc complex accounting transactions.
- Assisting with preparation of SEC reporting documents, such as proxy filings, 10-Q, and 10-K, for relevant areas.
- Surely achieving compliance with global regulatory and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
- Serving as a key contact for external audits by working with external auditors proactively on technical matters.
- Other accounting areas or projects as needed.
What You'll Bring
- 4+ years of experience in technical accounting, preferably with Big 4 public accounting and/or biotech industry experience.
- Knowledge of relevant GAAP accounting standards.
- Understanding of real estate lease accounting under ASC 842.
- Experience in assisting with preparation of SEC reporting documents.
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with internal and external parties.
- Experience in using Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail, quality, accuracy, and comfort with large amounts of data.
Location and Benefits
We are located in Somerville, MA, with a Flex Hybrid schedule. Our total compensation and rewards package ranks among the best in our industry. The anticipated annualized salary range for this role is $128,500 - $144,000, with eligibility for stock, incentive bonuses, and benefit programs, a flexible time off program, paid holidays, bluebird days, and a holiday shutdown in December.
