Your Responsibilities:

As our CNC Machining Specialist, you will be the expert operating our machines, transforming designs into reality through your proficiency in programming. Your daily tasks will involve setting up, operating, and programming CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts and tooling that adhere to our stringent standards. Reporting to the Machine Shop Manager, your contributions will be vital in upholding our commitment to quality and excellence.

Key Duties Include:

• Machine Operation: Skillfully set up and operate various CNC machines, ensuring each component meets our precise specifications.
• Programming Expertise: Employ Mazatrol or Win Max programming to realize designs and manage intricate machining challenges.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to direct your work, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Tooling Development: Assist in the creation and modification of fixtures, jigs, and tools to improve production efficiency.
• Quality Inspection: Utilize measuring instruments to confirm the accuracy of your work, maintaining our quality standards.
• Safety Advocate: Maintain a clean workspace and adhere to safety protocols, ensuring a secure environment for all.
• Collaborative Team Member: Share your knowledge with colleagues, contribute to skill enhancement, and assist with general shop maintenance and operations.

Qualifications We Seek:

• Programming Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with Mazatrol or Win Max programming is essential.
• Effective Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors, fostering a positive team dynamic.
• Technical Skills: Competent in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, understanding GD&T, and utilizing common measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with workplace safety standards and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Adaptable Skills: Comfortable working with oils, degreasers, and various machining tools.
