Mazak CNC Operator and Programmer

As a Mazak CNC Operator and Programmer, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. Your primary duties will involve setting up, operating, and programming various CNC machines using Mazatrol software to produce high-quality piece parts and tooling in alignment with provided manufacturing documentation.

This position reports directly to the Machine Shop Manager.

• Interpret and adhere to engineering drawings, travelers, and other relevant documentation.
• Set up and operate a variety of CNC machines and equipment to fulfill assigned tasks efficiently.
• Assist in the design and construction of fixtures, jigs, tools, and other shop aids.
• Utilize measuring and inspection tools to ensure compliance and accuracy of produced parts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Produce tooling and piece parts as required by production needs.
• Meet or exceed established productivity, quality, and safety standards.
• Engage in skill transfer and knowledge sharing with colleagues.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment as necessary.
• Carry out additional tasks such as moving materials, loading/unloading, and maintaining cleanliness in the workspace.

• Proficient in Mazatrol or Win Max programming (mandatory).
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with peers and supervisors.
• Capability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Familiarity with GD&T principles.
• Solid understanding of common measuring tools used in machining (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Commitment to workplace rules and safety protocols.
• Ability to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.
• Familiarity with personal protective equipment and safe handling of tools and materials.
