Position Overview
This role involves performing cashier duties under supervision, with limited scope for independent decision-making. The Cash Management Clerk is responsible for handling financial transactions of moderate complexity and associated tasks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage cash and checks received for various payments, ensuring accurate custody and accountability.
2. Issue receipts and maintain records of all transactions.
3. Operate cash registers and related financial equipment.
4. Handle physical currency, including bags of coins and bills.
5. Verify, count, and ensure the accuracy of all funds received.
6. Prepare bank deposits for collected receipts.
7. Maintain financial accounts, process transactions, and generate reports related to payments and adjustments.
Qualifications
1. A high school diploma or equivalent, along with one year of full-time experience in roles involving cash handling, such as cashier, bank teller, or similar positions; or
2. Two years of relevant full-time experience; or
3. A combination of education and experience equivalent to the above requirements, with at least one year of direct cash handling experience.
