Job Summary

The Practice Manager is a key member of our management team at P3 Health Partners. This role plays a vital part in the supervision of physician practices, reporting directly to the Director of Clinical Operations. As a primary lead, you will be responsible for the oversight of two or more office locations, ensuring a direct line of communication and accessibility to meet the needs of our staff, patients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and Maintain Best Practices: Develop and implement best practices as outlined by P3 policies and procedures, as well as industry standards, within your assigned clinic and span of control.
  • Leadership Rounding and Supervision: Perform direct observation and supervision of assigned clinics on a weekly basis through leadership rounding and physical presence, escalating unresolved issues as necessary.
  • Staff Management and Development: Provide oversight, mentorship, and accountability for the daily operation within assigned clinics, including coordination of onboarding new physicians and staff.
  • Operational Management: Responsible for management of human resource functions, including time capture and payroll approval for direct reports, as well as review of overtime and attendance.
  • Process Improvement: Perform workflow assessments/audits on assigned clinics, tracking changes and process improvement through required site visits and shadowing.
  • Communication and Liaison: Function as the primary liaison between assigned clinic locations and all other internal and external entities, including collaboration with other Practice Managers.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required or equivalent healthcare experience.
  • Experience: 1 year or more in a supervisory or management capacity in a primary care setting required, with 3 years or more of experience in a healthcare clinic setting preferred.
  • Credentials: Understanding of OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA, and risk programs required, with CMPE credential and LEAN Six Sigma certification preferred.
