Position Summary

The Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of essential patient care services. In collaboration with the Registered Nurse and other healthcare professionals, the LPN provides individualized, comprehensive care in accordance with established standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patient flow efficiently, including screening and preparing patients for examinations.
  • Instruct patients on sample collection and obtain vital signs.
  • Communicate test results and follow-up appointments to patients.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including chart entries and lab results.
  • Coordinate tests and treatments, including referrals and pre-authorizations.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A degree from an accredited practical nursing program.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in accordance with state regulations.
