About the Role

Amazon Health is seeking a talented UX Designer to join our team. As a UX Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience of our healthcare products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design user experiences that meet the needs of our users, from research and strategy to prototyping and testing.
  • Conduct user research through methods like interviews, usability testing, and analytics to deeply understand user needs and pain points.
  • Create detailed user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet business requirements and technical feasibility.
  • Champion a user-centered design approach throughout the organization and advocate for the needs of users.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UX trends, best practices, and design tools, and apply innovative solutions to complex design problems.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the overall UX of products and services through ongoing user feedback and performance analysis.
  • Effectively communicate design decisions and rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements
  • Have an online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns.
  • 4+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience.
  • Fluent in best practices for information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process, and strong knowledge of user experience principles and techniques.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs.
  • Strong practical knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, usability principles, web-based information architecture, and design.
  • Able to move quickly in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Naturally curious and find inspiration beyond the screen.
  • Have experience designing services and delivering UX solutions for projects of medium scope and complexity.
  • Confidently present a strong rationale for design decisions and rely on analytics and data to shape product decisions and track the effectiveness of change.
  • Solid written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in using Figma and prototyping tools.
Compensation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $184,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
