About the Role

We are seeking a talented UX Design Manager to join our Prime UX team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design of end-to-end Prime member experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive elegant design solutions, and using data and customer insights to inform design decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of UX designers to define and deliver end-to-end Prime member experiences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive design solutions from early concept through final implementation and iteration
  • Use data and customer insights to confidently defend design solutions with senior leaders
  • Develop processes and identify opportunities for improvements that drive quality and efficiency to help the team accomplish more than what they could otherwise
About the Team

Prime UX is a team made up of three UX capabilities: research, design, and writing. We partner with design, business, and engineering teams within Prime and across Amazon to create and influence exceptional customer experiences that make Prime the world's most engaged, satisfying, and loved membership program on Earth.

Basic Qualifications
  • 6+ years of design experience
  • 3+ years of leading design teams experience
  • Experience with a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, Axure, and Dreamweaver
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working cross-team and synthesizing feedback and input from product management, engineering, testing, and marketing
  • Experience designing mobile web or on-device mobile applications
