Service Advisor Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily inventory of technicians' time, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximizing revenue.
  • Distribute work between technicians effectively, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Answer technical questions and provide guidance on vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction scores, exceeding company standards.
  • Assist in diagnosing vehicle problems, ordering parts and tools as needed, and overseeing warranty claims.
  • Train and supervise service department employees, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Set schedules and assign tasks to service department employees, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Reinforce company policies and adhere to industry standards, promoting a culture of compliance and integrity.
