Job Description:

We are seeking a Sales Manager to join our team at our state-of-the-art Controlled Environment Agriculture facility in Berlin, NH. This position will prioritize client satisfaction, promote new products, set targets, and ensure healthy relationships between the companies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build a trusting and professional relationship with local clients through regular communication and check-in meetings
  • Monitor and analyze account profitability; recommend solutions to drive further efficiency
  • Build category management and growth strategies for assigned accounts
  • Develop annual sales forecast for assigned accounts. Track progress towards plan performance
  • Ensure orders are fulfilled and the accounts remain maintained
  • Following up on complaints and queries on behalf of clients; notify necessary locations and departments
  • Promoting new products to clients as needed
  • Reporting to senior management on the status of your accounts
  • Taking a leading role in presentations and proposals for national accounts
  • Monitoring and identifying market trends and competitors

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in business, or equivalent number of years of experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales management or B2B sales in produce industry

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Occasionally moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
  • Constantly communicating with others to exchange information
  • Occasionally repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
  • Driving for extended periods
  • Occasionally driving a large box truck and other work vehicles
