We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Medical Unit team at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, part of LifeBridge Health. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

About the Role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse in our Medical Unit, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. You will work closely with our Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Collaborate with Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma from an accredited school of nursing
  • A current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Maryland
  • AHA BLS CPR certification
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records
