Schedule Surgical Procedures with Precision

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for scheduling surgeries and ancillary tests as directed by physicians or practice managers. This involves accurately placing appointments on the calendar and scheduling in EPIC Optime in a timely manner.

Interface with Vendors and Ensure Equipment Availability

You will work closely with vendor staff to guarantee that all necessary equipment is available on site for hospital-based procedures.

Confirm Patient Insurance and Obtain Prior Authorization

Confirm patients' insurance coverage and obtain prior authorization or communicate with relevant parties as needed.

Ensure Proper Documentation and Pre-Testing

Verify that all required documentation and pre-testing is completed, obtained, and reviewed by clinical staff prior to surgery.

Act as Liaison between Patient and Physician

You will serve as a liaison between patients and physicians regarding surgical procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years of office administration and scheduling experience.
