About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the University of Pittsburgh as a Clinical Research Assistant II. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting research assessments and procedures independently.

You will oversee operations when leadership is unavailable, assign work tasks, and provide support. Additionally, you will recruit, screen, and enroll research participants, follow up with study participants to schedule appointments, and maintain study retention.

You will also review participants' medical records, collect and code surveys, and verify active status for participants. Furthermore, you will attend relevant meetings, prepare reports, data visualizations, and basic models identifying progress and trends.

In this role, you will maintain and update databases for registry assessments and clinical trial forms, order supplies, maintain inventory, and organize laboratory. You will also perform data analysis involving routine procedures and assist in preparing standard operating procedures and manuals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience required.
  • Previous phlebotomy experience highly preferred.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
