We are part of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), a leading academic medical center that combines patient care, research, and education. Our comprehensive cancer center offers state-of-the-art treatment options and a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

This role will support various oncology disease center program studies working Monday through Friday daylight hours. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate clinical research efforts.

Responsibilities:
  • Actively participate in the department's quality improvement efforts.
  • Demonstrate leadership in ensuring adherence to ethical practices during the conduct of research to protect the rights and well-being of patients and the collection of quality data.
  • Facilitate compliance with the requirements of the research protocol and good clinical research practice while remaining cognizant of the needs of the diverse patient population.

In addition to your responsibilities, you will also be expected to identify opportunities for quality improvement to colleagues and management, provide detailed and appropriate teaching to patients and families, and take personal responsibility in improving patient satisfaction with the quality of care and service provided.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately $68,000 per year, based on national averages and industry standards. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
