Job Title: Legal Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Legal Assistant to join our team in the Department of Human Resources. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our Labor and Employment Attorneys, assisting with daily operations and furthering their professional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to Labor and Employment Attorneys, including preparing documents, conducting research, and maintaining files.
  • Assist with daily operations, including scheduling appointments, making travel arrangements, and coordinating meetings.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of legal procedures and terminology to effectively communicate with attorneys and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and edit documents, reports, and other materials as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a legal office setting, preferably in a paralegal or administrative assistant role.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
