About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Field Technician to join our team at Wilbert Funeral Services Inc. As a Field Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring a respectful and flawless burial experience for families who have recently lost a loved one.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare concrete burial vaults according to orders and ensure timely delivery to gravesites.
  • Load, transport, and unload burial vaults using company vehicles, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Install vaults into graves, ensuring a respectful and dignified presentation for families and guests.
  • Assemble and disassemble graveside tents, and prepare graveside services by arranging folding chairs, chair covers, and artificial grass.
  • Maintain daily reports, including pre-trip and post-trip logs, and follow a maintenance schedule for company vehicles and equipment.
  • Keep the delivery truck, warehouse, and shop clean and organized, and perform all work functions in a timely, correct, and safe manner.
Requirements
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with limited infractions.
  • Preferred knowledge of backhoe operation, but willingness to learn is considered.
  • Ability to obtain a medical card.
  • Self-motivation and self-monitoring with minimal supervision.
  • Maintaining a clean and respectful personal appearance, including wearing a clean uniform when required.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Successful completion of a drug screen and background/MVR check.
  • Detail-oriented with full body movement and the ability to use all senses.
  • Capability to lift a minimum of 80 lbs.
  • Physical requirements include lifting, standing, bending, stooping, twisting, turning, kneeling, and squatting for short periods.
