Medical Assistant/Triage Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant/Triage Specialist to join our team at Advanced Dermatology. As a key member of our clinical support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dermatology practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage and manage patient calls, responding to inquiries and providing accurate information.
- Process and manage patient records, including updating electronic medical records and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Assist with clinical duties, including preparing exam rooms, setting up equipment, and performing various tests and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant Diploma or Certified Nursing Assistant diploma preferred.
- At least one year of patient care experience in a medical setting; experience with electronic medical records (EMR) a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to patient care.
