Job Description

As a Housing Portfolio Manager for Georgetown Estates Apartments, you will have the opportunity to positively impact our communities and residents by delivering an outstanding first impression of our properties and amenities in a professional and positive light. This role serves as the primary contact for our valued residents and prospective residents.

  • You will work with prospective residents to identify their needs and help them find the perfect home.
  • Screen qualified applicants in accordance with company policy, Fair Housing regulations, and local laws; prepare leases and associated move-in documentation.
  • Prepare property for daily showings, including opening/closing model units and amenities.
  • Manage the new resident move-in process to ensure a smooth transition into the community.
  • Deliver high-level resident satisfaction through responsive, consistent, positive, and professional interactions.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as software data entry, filing, typing, and answering phones.
  • Attend and assist with resident events and activities as required.
  • Follow up with leasing leads and enter traffic into CRM.

Mandatory qualifications include:

  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to change.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Experience operating office equipment & Microsoft Office applications.

Nice-to-have qualifications include:

  • Experience with Yardi property management software.
  • Previous Leasing or Sales experience.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include comprehensive health, vision, dental, and pet insurance, 401(k) with a 25% match, and up to 11 weeks of paid short-term disability. We also provide all expenses-paid cruises for employees of the year and their significant others.
