Job Title: Youth Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Care Specialist to join our team at Miracle Houses. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of young individuals.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, supportive, and structured environment for youth in our care. This includes assisting with daily living activities, implementing treatment plans, and promoting positive behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, laundry, and household chores.
  • Implement treatment plans developed by qualified professionals, including medication management and documentation.
  • Promote positive behaviors and provide guidance on life skills, education, and vocational training.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on client progress, including behavior incidents and interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for youth.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all clients, staff, and visitors.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience working with youth an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical demands of the role.
