Key Responsibilities

Primary Function: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of electric carts while transporting passengers.

Core Duties:

  • Conduct vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of cart interiors, monitor battery levels, log trip counts, and assist passengers.
  • Maintain punctuality and professionalism by being present at work on scheduled days, in uniform.
  • Possess and carry a valid state-issued driver's license while on duty.
  • Maintain an acceptable driving record as per DMV standards.
  • Provide courteous assistance to customers by addressing inquiries and directing them to the Assistant Facility Manager when necessary.
  • Report any accidents, policy violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
  • Communicate any debris, spills, or hazards to the garage office promptly.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of all garage and terminal areas.
  • Assist customers with luggage and other travel items as needed, including operating shuttle buses.
  • Support the Assistant Facility Manager with additional tasks as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Requirements: To excel in this role, candidates must be able to perform essential duties effectively. The following qualifications are necessary:

Education/Experience: A minimum of less than a high school education or one month of related experience, training, or a combination of education and experience.

License Requirement: A valid state driver's license is required, along with a current address and an acceptable DMV record.

Work Availability: Shift requirements may vary based on hiring needs, including potential 3rd shift and weekend availability.

Language Skills: Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Proficient in writing simple correspondence and effectively presenting information in one-on-one situations.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with American currency.

Appearance: Employees must maintain a neat and professional appearance, adhering to uniform standards at all times.

Physical Demands: The physical requirements for this position include regular standing, walking, and using hands to handle equipment and luggage. Employees may occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Benefits: After 90 days, full-time employees are eligible for dental, medical, and vision insurance, as well as paid holidays, sick leave, and vacation time.
