Position Overview:

The role involves executing standard production assembly tasks on mechanical and structural assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems, utilizing manual techniques.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine assembly operations following precise work instructions.
  • Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, or specifications.
  • Fabricate and assemble aircraft structural components.
  • Utilize conventional machinery such as lathes and milling machines, along with precision measuring instruments.
  • Employ power, pneumatic, and hand tools effectively.
  • Navigate software applications for tasks such as internet browsing, email communication, and Microsoft Suite usage.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, demonstrating the ability to follow detailed work instructions and interpret technical documents.


Additional Requirements:
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).
  • Commitment to maintaining high safety standards and compliance with regulations.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry weights between 10-35 pounds.
  • Ability to work with hazardous materials and chemicals.
  • Proficient in various physical tasks including climbing, crawling, and precise measurements.
  • Experience with high-impact vibratory tools.

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is essential. Strong communication skills, a solid work ethic, and a sense of urgency in completing tasks are crucial for success in this position.
