As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Avamere, you'll work alongside friendly familiar faces and strong professional support to provide top-notch care.

Your Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Completing accurate record keeping regarding resident admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Cordinating with nursing staff and support personnel to plan services, programs, and activities
  • Preparing and administering medications, reviewing medication cards for completeness and accuracy
  • Developing and implementing programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for quality care
  • Providing leadership to nursing personnel and ensuring direct care aligns with resident care plans and wishes

As an LPN at Avamere, you must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice in this state and knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to nursing care facilities.

We also require experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems, as well as maintaining confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
