Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SQL Database Architect to join our team at Randstad Digital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance database systems.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement high-availability database solutions using MS SQL Server and AWS services.
  • Perform regular database maintenance tasks, including backups, indexing, and integrity checks.
  • Monitor database performance and proactively tune databases to optimize SQL queries, indexes, and configurations.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure high availability and fast response times.
  • Configure and monitor replication strategies to ensure data availability across environments.
Requirements
  • Minimum 12 years of experience with MS SQL Server and AWS services.
  • Excellent knowledge of database architecture, migration, and performance tuning.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) such as EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, backup services, and other offerings.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
