Job Title: Public Health Nurse

Job Summary:

The Public Health Nurse will be responsible for providing assessment, care, and education to patients and community partners. This role will focus on prevention of illness, injury, or disability, promotion of health, and maintenance of the health of populations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assessment and care to patients in the Adult Health Clinic
  • Develop and implement health education programs for community partners
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in community outreach and engagement activities
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest healthcare trends and best practices
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Current license to practice as a registered nurse in North Carolina
  • Valid N.C. driver's license
