Job Summary

Anesthesia Specialist needed to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and inclusive environment. As a key member of the Anesthesiology team, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia to patients undergoing various medical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients pre-operatively to develop a comprehensive anesthesia plan of care.
  • Administer anesthesia in accordance with Department of Anesthesiology standards of care.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Contribute to performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
  • Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina.
  • Board certification if required by the Department.
