We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Coordinator to join our team at Greenway Equipment Inc. As a Service Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service department, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the service manager and assistant service manager in maintaining accurate and on-time reports and records.
  • Field internal and external customer inquiries and respond to their service-related questions.
  • Prepare and manage work orders to ensure technicians have the necessary information to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Communicate regularly with customers regarding repair timelines and updates on anticipated completion dates.
  • Assist with logistics, including trucking, washing, and other tasks as directed.
  • Complete pre- and post-delivery inspections for rental and demo units.
  • Verify factory shipping documentation for shortages and equipment condition.
  • Open and maintain work orders, ensuring they are previewed, approved, and invoiced in a timely manner.
  • Maintain service department filings and records, as well as the service library, with current information.
  • Manage warranty bins, service parts, and oil sample submissions.
  • Update customer profiles with equipment, hours, or other relevant information.
  • Maintain service accessories and supplies charges within budgeted expenses.
  • Prepare service technician time management reports for daily reporting.
  • Ensure all warranty and product improvement programs are completed and submitted within the required timeframe.
  • Participate in service training programs to develop skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain a clean work area and perform tasks in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations.
  • Maintain knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
Requirements
  • Experience with basic computer and accounting functions.
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting internal reports.
  • Experience working cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Experience communicating effectively.
