Retail Sales Representatives engage with both wholesale and retail clients to assess their requirements, address inquiries regarding Sherwin-Williams offerings, and suggest suitable solutions.
They are also responsible for swiftly addressing any customer issues to ensure optimal client satisfaction, while keeping abreast of product features and upholding the store's visual and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction.
- Assist customers both in-person and via phone by identifying their needs and presenting relevant products and services.
- Establish and nurture productive relationships with wholesale and retail clients.
- Accurately process sales transactions in line with company policies.
- Achieve sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Maintain organized work order files and formulas.
- Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed.
- Tint and mix products according to customer specifications.
- Restock shelves and arrange displays to enhance product visibility.
- Ensure cleanliness of store equipment.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Support delivery operations as required.
- Keep assigned areas well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Stay informed about available products and options to effectively communicate with customers.
- Adhere to inventory management procedures.
- Propose strategies to enhance sales performance.
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Must have legal authorization to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for work visa status.
- Must be capable of retrieving materials from shelves and floor stacks, and lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be available to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- Hold at least a High School diploma or GED.
- Have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
- Previous experience in selling paint and related products is advantageous.
- Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment is preferred.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in multiple languages is a plus.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, comprehending, and communicating in Spanish is beneficial.
