Facility Information:

Our facility is a faith-based healthcare organization that has been serving the community for many years. We are a regional tertiary care center, recognized for our commitment to quality healthcare, including being verified as a Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.


Job Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, you will assist physicians in conducting both invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab (CCL). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing patients and procedural sites using aseptic techniques.
  • Assisting physicians by calibrating equipment and preparing necessary supplies.
  • Setting up and monitoring complex digital medical equipment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Utilizing various computer applications for accurate documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Monitoring and interpreting hemodynamic waveforms and EKGs.
  • Coordinating patient care under physician supervision to ensure safe and effective treatment.
  • Maintaining a safe and organized environment in the CCL.

Essential Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Vocational/Technical Degree.
  • RCIS credentialing through Cardiovascular Credentialing International and/or RT through ARRT.
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Completion of a basic dysrhythmia course.
  • 6 to 12 months of on-the-job training in cardiac procedures.

Preferred Experience:

While previous experience in a Cath Lab or as a Radiologic Technologist is preferred, it is not mandatory.

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A solid understanding of heart anatomy and physiology.
  • Analytical skills to monitor patient conditions and perform necessary calculations.
  • Knowledge of radiographic procedures acquired through education in allied health sciences.
